MATI, Jerusalem Business Development Center, was established in 1991 as a non-profit organization (Amuta) aimed at strengthening and developing the Jerusalem economy 
 
MATI provides assistance in opening new businesses and
expanding the existing ones in all fields: Industry and crafts, trade, hi-tech, services and tourism.
 
Since its establishment, MATI has assisted about 23,450
entrepreneurs, 5,400 of which opened or expanded
businesses. MATI activities resulted in the creation of about
13,200 new jobs in Jerusalem. Entrepreneurs received loans
in the amount of NIS 93 million through MATI for
opening and expanding small businesses. They attended
hundreds of courses and workshops in business management.     
  
MATI offers its services at a discount, thanks to the assistance of several public funds and organizations.
  
MATI policy is determined by MATI Board whose members
are all volunteers.
  
MATI services - business consulting, assistance in
financing, tutoring, training, etc. are provided by
MATI professional team and by external consultants 
specializing in a variety of business fields.
